Buoywatch

The problem

Surfers use buoy readings to decide when and where to paddle out, but raw data can be hard to parse quickly. Buoywatch turns NOAA readings into clear views of wave height, period, wind, and water temperature.

The experience

I designed the full iOS and watchOS experience, brand identity, App Store assets, and marketing visuals. The phone app offers detailed statistics; the watch app supports quick checks on the move. Typography and hierarchy keep conditions readable outdoors.

Buoywatch launched in 2020 in collaboration with an indie iOS developer.
