Zen Gardens Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Zen Gardens: Relax & Create, provided by The Indiepreneurs.

1. Your gardens and preferences

Your garden layouts, drawings and preferences are stored locally on your device. Zen Gardens does not upload your garden compositions to our servers.

Local app data may be included in device backups according to your Apple settings. Removing the app may remove your saved gardens.

2. Saving pictures to Photos

When you choose to save a garden picture to Photos, Zen Gardens requests permission to add that picture to your photo library.

The app does not read your existing photos. Pictures you save may be backed up or synchronized by services you have enabled, such as iCloud Photos. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

3. Purchases and Pro access

Zen Gardens offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase.

Apple processes payments through the App Store. We do not receive your payment-card details.

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, manage Pro access, restore purchases and understand purchase activity. RevenueCat processes information such as:

• Purchase history, including purchased products and subscription status.
• An automatically generated app user identifier.
• Technical information needed to provide its services, such as app version, operating system, platform and storefront information.
• Interactions with purchase screens used to understand and improve the purchase experience.

No account is required to play. Zen Gardens does not ask for your name or email address or provide those details to RevenueCat through the app.

Purchase information is used to provide app functionality, prevent fraud and analyze purchase activity. It is not used by us for advertising tracking.

4. Support communications

If you contact us by email or through our website, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, device details, screenshots and a description of your issue.

We use this information to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems and improve the app. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, Apple verification codes or unnecessary personal information.

Information collected by the Rafsdesign website is also subject to that website’s privacy policy, where applicable.

5. Advertising and tracking

Zen Gardens contains no advertising.

We do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Sharing information

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate purchases and respond to support requests, including Apple, RevenueCat and the services used for email and website support.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud or address security issues.

We do not upload your garden compositions to these providers as part of purchase processing.

7. Data retention

Garden data remains on your device until it is changed, reset or removed. Copies in device backups or Photos are governed by your device and backup settings.

Support communications are retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and related follow-up.

Purchase records may be retained by Apple or RevenueCat to maintain and restore purchase access, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements.

Deleting Zen Gardens does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete purchase records held by these providers.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled through our services. No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Their privacy policies describe their processing practices and applicable safeguards.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

You can:

• Play the free version without purchasing Pro.
• Turn sounds on or off.
• Decline permission to save pictures to Photos.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
• Remove locally stored app data by deleting the app, subject to any device backups.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or request data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To make a request, email theindiepreneurs@gmail.com. We may need information to verify your request. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons or to maintain purchase entitlements.

Requests concerning information held independently by Apple or RevenueCat may need to be directed to those providers.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children’s privacy

Zen Gardens does not require a player account or ask players to provide their age, name or contact information.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support request, contact theindiepreneurs@gmail.com so we can review and address it.

Purchases are subject to Apple’s account settings and parental controls.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our services or our information-handling practices change.
